Well done to our D6 team who edged out Clonmel in a top of the table clash in Villiers today.

The teams were evenly matched throughout, but Limerick took the lead just before half time with a short corner finish from Lucy Murray. Clonmel equalised in the third qtr, pushing hard for a winner but Limk held firm with some heroic defending to keep the game level.

A well worked team goal finished by Emma Tucker sealed the win for Limk in the final minute.
