After a very difficult season our Senior Ladies 1s played their last league match at home against Ashton. With two very swift goals by Ashton, our players did not let that phase them and with minutes to spare Giselle Keogh scored the first Limerick goal.
Despite attempts on goal by both teams the third quarter remaind scoreless. Then in the fourth and final quarter, Lauren Slater scored to equalise with Ashton which was quickly followed up by a decisive shot by Eimear Flanagan giving Limerick the lead and ending the season on a win.
