Super win today for our u18 Pinks away at Nenagh.
On top in the first quarter they scored from a short corner, Ailbhe reacting first to the deflected shot and flicking in from close range. But Nenagh levelled soon after with their own well worked short corner.
The matched was an even contest, but Limerick went up a gear and improved their high press and attacking play, and scored the winner with a flowing passing move which found Sophie in space in the D, and she fired into the corner.
Pinks had to defend hard as a team to finish out the game and delighted with the win.

All round team performance, but Sophie stood out for her attacking play and getting rewarded with her goal and impressive commitment from Isobel and all the defence.
