After a very rocky season, our Senior Ladies 1st played out an exciting Promotion/Relegation match against Belvedere in the sweltering heat this afternoon to finish on a high 😎👏
The first qtr ended scorelss as the teams settled into the game and got to grips with the heat.
Anna Rose broke the deadlock at the start of the second, quickly followed by a second from Leah who broke free from everyone in midfield and converted 1 on 1 with the keeper.

Belvedere turned on the pressure in the 3rd but were marshalled well by Limerick's defence line led by captain Lauren, who kept all heads in check and alert. Shout out to keeper Hilary who made save after save as Belvedere's pressure ramped up.
Nerves were settled in the 4th when Alexa popped the ball through to her sister Giselle who grabbed the third and last goal of the match.

Well done to all the players, coach Aamir, all the supporters today, everyone who helped out throughout the season and to Belvedere for an exciting end to the year. 💙💖🏑
