Limerick Snr seconds played another competitive match today at CofI but came out losing 4-1.
They only got into their stride in the 2nd quarter and were unlucky not score, but then conceded just before half time. The 3rd quarter was very exciting, tightly fought with CofI grabbing 2 goals and Limerick pulling one back - one of a series of short corners , Alex set up Edie who blasted it through a gap, clipping the back board. The game opened up with both teams pushing for more goals as CofI added a 4th with a fast counter attack.
Well played CofI. Great match.
