Good win today in another exciting match for Senior 2ndsv Ashton.
Ashton scored with a fast attack inside 2 minutes, but limerick stayed focused and got their attack going producing a match winning quarter- with some nice passing combinations, scored 3 before half time. Roisin Sorcha and Ellie getting the goals. Second half Ashton came back and scored again to set up a tense finish- both teams creating more chances. Limerick goalkeeper and defence pulled out the stops to keep the team ahead and see out the win.
Well done and well deserved team effort.

The whole team worked hard throughout but effort went to Sorcha who was tireless in attack, creating one goal scoring another. Lots of standout performances, especially players coming back from injury, but overall performance went to Sophie, with Ellie Margot and Roisin in goal also impressing. 😎🏑💪
