Our Senior 2nds team are going from strength to strength. Away from home,  they took the game to  league-leaders Bandon and nearly scored inside 2 minutes with a lovely flowing move but shot wide. They then cut them open scoring 2 nice goals from open play. With slick passing they picked out Lucy in the circle, and with a first time shot she slotted into the corner.  A few minutes later they worked another opportunity and Sadhbh buried it in the top right corner. Limerick 2-0 up at the half. 

But as legs tired Bandon got 2 back in the 3rd, & their relentless pressure and short corners found a winner with just minutes to go. Limerick still looked dangerous but ran out of time.  Unlucky not get something from the game, but will focus on the performance and the progress the team is making.  

Micke in defence stood out today along with Katy, as well as forwards  Orla & Cathy, and Sadhbh and Lucy scoring the goals.
