A solid team performance yesterday from senior 2nds against  Clonmel.  
An even first half 0-0 at the break. Lots of pressure from Clonmel but Limerick defended well and created clear chances on the break. In the second half Clonmel started to find more space and took their chances well going 3 up.  But Limerick continued to looked for ways to break through the Clonmel defence and got their reward, pulling 1 back with a nicely worked goal scored by Sadhbh.  Clonmel finished strong adding 2 more. But limerick showed a controlled performance balancing defence and attack, staying in the game until the last quarter.

Proud of the way team worked hard for each other, with excellent defending, & passing and movement up front.  

Effort went to Roisin in goal, performance went to Katy who was immense at the back and Orla who was tireless pressing and creating chances up the right.
